Subtract Music

Fabian Dikof

Fabian is Andre Lodemann’s studio partner-in-crime. Together, these guys are cranking out some incredibly well-produced music, and their engineering skills are simply out of this world.

Everything in balance between house and techno, but essentially it should be deep.

That is what Fabian Dikof stands for. Born in 1990 he discovered house music by no less than André Lodemann himself. At this time, André, working on a social project called DJ-Café, taught kids how to develop skills and knowledge and use those to produce music.
After years of spinning, digging records but also spending time in the studio, Fabian discovered his way of producing house music, a trip through warm sounding synthetizers and rolling basslines.

In 2011, Fabian’s first remix for Mario & Vidis’ „Plastic People“ EP was released on Best Works Records. With his friend Felix Fischer followed the „White Dots/Around the World“ EP in the beginning of 2012. The incredible “Bleary Faces EP” in 2013 was his first full solo project and Fabian ended up playing in a number of Berlin-based clubs like Watergate, About Blank, Tresor and some back2back-sessions with a lot of house icons. His last EP “Which Side Are You On?”, released at the end of 2014 is an outstanding project and points out how ambitious und gifted this artist is, one who really melts house music in its diversity.
