Ring in the year with Subtract and Moon Kitty at Axis Novum, our 8th annual New Year’s Day gathering, now taking place at a beautiful, cozy indoor venue in Downtown LA. The same world‑class Danley Sound System and lineup you love, now in a warm, weather‑proof space so the journey can unfold without worry.
Axis Novum is the perfect reset: a day‑into‑night experience with a stacked international and local lineup, immersive sound and stage design, vendors, and most importantly, a space to connect with your friends. Capacity remains strictly limited to keep it intimate and high‑vibe all day.
Our new DTLA indoor venue offers easy access, plentiful street parking, and creature comforts while keeping the underground feel. All ticket holders will receive full address and arrival details before the event.
There’s no better way to begin the year than dancing together to the music we love. We can’t wait to welcome you to the next chapter Axis Novum.

Best sound system in LA county! It’s always dialed in perfectly and I frequently don’t even use earplugs. I’ve met or cemented some of my closest friendships at Subtract events, and I know the music is always on-point regardless of who is booked. I’ve loved seeing big names like Robag Wruhme or Lee Burridge, but some of the best times I’ve had have been with locals or Anton playing all day.
